The company welcomes Oleg Shvets as Director of Data Management and has promoted Vinayan Valappil to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In addition to his role as CTO, Vinayan will continue to lead LumenData’s Data Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) as Vice President.

Welcoming Proven Industry Expertise
Oleg Shvets joins LumenData with more than 17 years of experience leading enterprise data management initiatives across global organizations. His experiences include 14 years in Informatica Professional Services leading strategy, architecture, delivery approach, pre-sales, go-to-market for large scale programs like cloud modernization.
Throughout his career, Oleg has built and led consulting teams, partnered with executive leadership on complex transformation programs, and delivered large-scale enterprise data initiatives across multiple industries.
At LumenData, he will lead strategic customer engagements & MDM architecture helping customers accelerate their data modernization journey and strengthen trusted, AI-ready data foundations.

Vinayan Valappil’s promotion to Chief Technology Officer marks an important milestone in LumenData’s journey.
As one of LumenData’s earliest team members, Vinayan has been shaping LumenData’s technology organization and part of the company’s journey from its formative years and remains one of the few founding-era leaders who continues to shape its growth today, he has led global engineering, pre-sales, delivery and customer-facing teams while playing a key role in scaling the business.
His deep experience in industry verticals and large-scale implementations has helped LumenData strengthen its position as a trusted partner for enterprise customers. Vinayan’s ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on delivery leadership makes him an invaluable part of LumenData’s growth journey, and we are excited to see his continued impact in this expanded leadership role.
As CTO, Vinayan will lead LumenData’s technology strategy, drive innovation across its service portfolio, and continue advancing the Data Management Centre of Excellence to support customers’ evolving data and AI initiatives.
